Since 2020 Mr. Rivas serves as Associate Director for the Mexico District of the

Laffont Competition of the Metropolitan Opera.

He has been involved in this project since the creation of the Mexico District in 2018 - and with the help of this organization, every year more Mexican Singers find a way into the international stage.
